Time: An Undefined Mystery

Time is a mystery for everyone and it is explained according to different references in different ways. In History, time is used to describe different periods and events which occurred at a certain point of time. In human life, time is very precious. Time helps us to make a good habit of structuring and organizing our daily activities. If you understand the value of time better, you can gain experience and develop skills over some time. Time is the most valuable resource because you

cannot take it back.

This article particularly talks about what Physics says about time. According to Physics, Time is relative. Some 13.8 billion years ago, the universe was born, and since then time has flown by to the present day, overseeing the creation of galaxies and the expansion of space.

According to physicist Carlo Rovelli, Time is an illusion. Sir Albert Einstein also believed that time is an illusion, he said that “both the future and the past are unchangeable, and will play out exactly the way they were meant to”. “The concept of time is an illusion made up of human memories, everything that has ever been and ever will be is happening right now.” This is said by the scientists who aim to solve various mysteries related to the universe.

People who believe in physics know that the distinction between present, past, and future is only a persistent fact of life. What is present today will become past tomorrow and the future will become today.

Time: The fourth dimension-

According to Einstein, you need to describe where you are, not only in three-dimensional space — length, width, and height — but also in time. Time is the fourth dimension. So to know where you are, you have to know what time it is.

HOW TO STOP TIME?

You must be aware of the principle of science about how time can be stopped! Time can be stopped by traveling at the speed of light. This was explained by Sir Albert Einstein in his “Special Theory of Relativity”. When any mass-containing body travels at the speed of light, in order to maintain the laws of nature, the time of that body becomes slow or stops.

A 2014 science–fiction epic interstellar directed by a British- American film director, Christopher Nolan is one of the relevant examples of showcasing different dimensions of ‘ time ’.

Time Travel-

Physics says that one of the most interesting facts about time is traveling through it. Still, it is not possible to achieve it. Professor Ron Mallet from the University of Connecticut in the US claims to have written a scientific equation that could be used to create a device that takes people back in time. So, soon time travel would be possible.

But some believe that traveling through time is not possible. As Sir Stephen Hawking said, “The best evidence we have that time travel is not possible, and never will be, is that we have not been invaded by hordes of tourists from the future."But NASA says “Although humans can't hop into a time machine and go back in time, we do know that clocks on airplanes and satellites travel at a different speed than those on Earth.” We all travel in time! We travel one year in time between birthdays. For example, we are all traveling in time at approximately the same speed: 1 second per second.

Will time end?

The answer to this question is unknown. If the universe expands forever, time would continue and it would be with us forever. We cannot discard it even if we want to. If a new Big Bang occurs, our time timeline would end and a new one would begin. But the answer to this question, only time will tell. For students, time is a valuable entity, and should not waste as -

“Time cannot go back as it flows in only one direction”.
